SAC Summer Camps (5 yrs - 16 yrs) - Locations include Bear Creek and Coal Creek
$400.00 per five-day camp week ($320 for the four-day week of June 17-21)
Children will engage in weekly field trip type activities off site, or by in-house presenters (example: Museum or Color Me Mine)

Preschool Summer Camp (3 yrs - 5 yrs) - Only location is Coal Creek
$485.00 per five-day camp week ($390 for the four-day week of June 17-21)
Weekly themed activities include pre-literacy and pre-math along with outside fun, relationship building and extended creative projects. Our Supervisors foster children's natural curiosity and encourage them to practice problem solving while they play.

Camp Hours
All camps (SAC and Preschool) will run 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Enrollment for each camp closes the Sunday prior to the camp start date, as detailed below. After the cutoff date, the camp fee is non-refundable. 

Enrollment is first come first serve, or until the capacity is met for the day. The deadlines above represent the last possible day to enroll for any open locations.  All SAC sites have capacity for 55 students and Preschool Camp has capacity for 20 students.

A written (email) notice sent to bvsd.childcare@bvsd.org by the cancellation date is required for cancellation and refund, minus a $25 change fee per cancellation request. You may submit multiple cancellations in one request. No refund will be given if the account has an outstanding balance for any BVSD child care program.

If you reserve a space and your child does not attend for any reason, the camp fee is nonrefundable, as we have already reserved bus space, excursion entry and staffed for your child. We do not refund for absences or vacations.

Any person authorized to pick up your child must be listed as an emergency contact and may be asked to show their I.D.

CCAP Families will request attendance through the SAC Registrar. Please email bvsd.childcare@bvsd.org

If a student has turned five before March 1, 2024, they will register for School Age Care Summer Camps.

Younger students (must be at least three) will register for Preschool Enrichment camps.

No child is excluded from participating in any of the activities or programming offered by Community Schools. Child Care programs do not have access to para support during summer programming and implement ADA accommodations; for this reason, as a part of our enrollment process for students new to BVSD Child Care Programs, we schedule individual phone calls with families when children with any health or educational needs enroll in our programs. During this time, we learn more about your child's needs and how to provide a thriving environment based on their personality and the valuable insight families offer.

As noted in our family handbook, we will follow our Behavior Expectations and Safe Student Conduct policy to address any concerns.

We also answer questions for families about what the programming looks like as we know that child care and multi-aged group care may be a new experience.

On each camp day (at camp locations and on excursion days) families must provide nut-free lunches. The program will provide snacks.

Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from the camp location every day. The program will provide transportation from the camp locations to off-site excursions.

Parents are liable for disclosing and informing School-Age Care of any current,  new or changes in Emergency Medication or Health Care Plans before a child attends.  If enrollment forms do not properly align or indicate your child's healthcare needs, we are unable to take the appropriate steps to meet their needs.
