Full Day Adventure Camp Excursions 2025-2026

We are happy to announce that SAC will provide Full Day Adventure Camps on non-school days in line with the 2025-26  BVSD calendar (see below for list of dates). Please note: each camp date has a registration deadline. SAC before and after school care is not available on Adventure Camp dates.

Camp Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm
Enrollment is first come first serve, or until the capacity is met for the day. All six locations have the capacity to accommodate 55 students each. The deadlines below represent the last possible day to enroll and cancel for all locations.

Two Types of Adventure Camp Days
Theme Day These days take place at each program location and are built around a fun theme. Children engage in coordinated activities, games, crafts, and special surprises designed specifically for that site’s theme of the day.
Excursion Day Excursion Days offer a unique experience that goes beyond the typical daily schedule. These may involve special guests, enhanced activities, or outings to other destinations. Excursions can occur at the program location or off-site, and families will receive all necessary details.

Register Early for Adventure Camp!
To ensure a fun, safe, and well-organized experience, please register by the posted deadlines. Early registration allows us to arrange transportation, finalize field trip bookings, prepare supplies and snacks, and staff appropriately for the day.

Registration Details

• Existing SAC Families who want to attend Full Day Adventure Camps must register through their Parent Portal by clicking on the “registration” tile from the home page. Families will be charged at the time of registration.

Existing Child Care Families Parent Portal

New Families without a SAC account must first register through the BVSD SAC website (New Registration) and pay the one-time registration fee of $75 to set up a child care account for the 2025-26 school year. For additional siblings, a one-time $10 non-refundable registration fee will be included in their Adventure Camp registration cost. Once registration information is approved, an email will be sent with additional instructions on how to register for Adventure Camps through their new Parent Portal account.

New Child Care Family Registration

CCAP families must request camp enrollment by emailing bvsd.childcare@bvsd.org with the requested dates and attaching their CCAP non-school days authorization letter.

• Camp fees are non-refundable after each registration deadline.
• Any persons authorized to pick up your child(ren) may be asked to show I.D. and must be listed as an emergency or pick up contact.

Adventure Camp Pricing
Excursion Days: $75 per camp day/child. Children will engage in field trip type activities off site, or by in house presenters (example: Museum or Color Me Mine)

Themed Days: $65 per camp day/child. Children will experience staff-planned activities based around an interactive theme (example: Harry Potter or Pirates)

Cancelling Adventure Camp registrations
Please email bvsd.childcare@bvsd.org before the deadline date. We will process a refund, deducting a $25 cancellation fee (per request, not per student). Additionally, the $75 registration fee and the $10 additional sibling registration fee are both non-refundable. You may submit multiple cancellations in one request. No refund will be given if the account has an outstanding balance for any BVSD child care program.

If you reserve a space and your child does not attend for any reason, the camp fee is nonrefundable, as we have already reserved bus space, excursion entry and staff for your child. We do not refund for absences or vacations.

NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be given after the cancellation deadline.

NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be given for school closings, sick days, snow days, COVID or other health quarantines, or family vacation days. Regular tuition and fees will be charged for all absences. This policy is in place because the cost for staff and programming remains the same when children are absent. Families must pay full tuition for the days they are in attendance.

Changing the location and/or date of an Adventure Camp registration
Please email bvsd.childcare@bvsd.org before the deadline date, and we will make the change for the location or date, provided there is availability. Please note that either of these requests will incur a $25 Schedule/Location Fee (per request, not per student).

Lunches on Adventure Camp Days
Students are required to bring their own lunch on Adventure Camp days. If a child arrives at a camp day without a lunch, our staff will arrange for a nutritious meal (protein, fruit/vegetable and a drink) based on what is available at that location when applicable. The family will be charged a $15 Emergency Lunch Fee per child. If a child brings a lunch which is lost or misplaced on site for any reason, a meal will be provided at no cost to the family.

If there are no lunch options available based on the excursion location, the family will be contacted to bring a lunch.
