Special Child Care - November 12
BVSD Child Care is working to provide support at 13 regional sites for Boulder Valley School District families impacted by the cancelation of classes on Friday, November 12.
Registration for child care on November 12 must be submitted by Tuesday, November 9 at 10am (see instructions below)
Community Schools will provide this service free to families. The child care registration fee for newly enrolled families is waived.
Priority for the child care slots will be assigned as follows:

Priority 1: Currently registered School Age Care (SAC) and PreSchool Enrichment (PSE) families

Priority 2: Siblings of students who are currently registered for SAC and PSE

Priority 3: Families not currently registered for SAC or PSE

Note that due to licensing requirements, Early Connections Infant and Toddler Child Care is only available for currently enrolled children. Early Connections will continue operating under a normal Friday schedule.
Our 13 Sites
Child care on November 12 will be bell-to-bell (no half day or after school programming) at the following 13 sites. Families can attend any site.

Children currently registered in Child Care
Currently enrolled child care families must register for a slot at an available site on November 12. If you have already paid for November 12, your account will be credited for that day.
CURRENT CHILD CARE FAMILY REGISTRATION
Instructions:
- Log into your School Care Works account in the Parent Portal (button above)
- Click on the registration tile
- Click on a green Click to View Offerings button for SAC or PSE
- Click on a green Click to View Offerings button for the November 12 option
- Select a site and select your student(s)
- Click Add to Cart and complete your transaction
Children not currently registered in Child Care
Families of students not currently registered for Child Care programs are required to complete the full child care application process, which is required by statutory child care licensing rules, no later than Tuesday, November 9 at 10 a.m.
Registration does not guarantee enrollment for November 12 child care. A confirmation email of your registration status will be sent by November 10.
